Upcoming Event

The Upstart Creatures are back and proud to welcome the Villalobos Brothers, a Grammy-winning music group recognized as one of the foremost Contemporary Mexican ensembles in the world! On Friday, April 26 at 7pm, the Villalobos Brothers will take the stage at Metro Baptist Church to showcase their unique fusion of Mexican folk, jazz, and classical music. A three-course Mexican-inspired meal will be served along with the performance, followed by a Forum discussion about crossing borders and the immigrant experience in America, moderated by NYU professor Vicki Whooper.

This event is 100% FREE to attend, but the Upstart Creatures live from your support, so we encourage your kind donation upon registration (one reservation per email address). Space is limited, so register before it’s too late!
